Before my husband I never made guacamole with cilantro or hot sauce (because I hate eating spicy), but since I tried it the first time, I can’t imagine it without! I’m a cilantro fan. And garlic fan. And avocado fan. And even a Tapatio fan, it gives it a special flavour.
Ingredients
- 2 avocados
- 1 middle sized onion
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 2 tomatoes
- cilantro/coriander
- 1 lime
- salt, black pepper
- Tapatio Hot Sauce
Step 1:
Cut the avocados in half, remove the seeds, scratch the pulp out into a bowl and mash it.
Step 2:
Chop the onion and garlic into really small cubes, same with the tomatoes, and mince some cilantro (as much as you like). Mix it into the avocado cream. I love cilantro, so I’m using a lot!
Step 3:
Season the guacamole with as much lime juice, salt and pepper as you want and add a sip of Tapatio Hot Sauce.
Enjoy it! It tastes well with tortilla chips, tacos and many other things.
