Super good fancy pasta!

Ingredients

  • 700ml wine (I used a semi-sweet rosé wine)
  • 1000ml whipping cream (unwhipped, of course)
  • 4 bay leaves
  • 1 middle sized red onion
  • 5 big garlic cloves
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 tbsp sauce thickener
  • 200g butter
  • 500g spaghetti
  • 150g rucola
  • ca. 600g shrimps

STEP 1: SAUCE

For the sauce you need the onion and 2 garlic cloves. Peel and cut them really tiny. Let 100g butter melt in a bowl, stew onion and garlic in it. After they are good, deglaze them with the wine and add cream and bay leaves. Let the sauce cook, add sauce thickener after 15 min and let cook for 5 more minutes. Then season the sauce with salt and pepper.

STEP 2: PASTA

Cook the pasta as said on packaging with1 tbsp salt.

STEP 3: SHRIMPS

Peel the other 3 garlic cloves and cut them tiny. Melt 100g butter in a pan, stew the garlic a bit in it, then add the shrimps (not frozen!) and let cook on mid heat. Season with salt and pepper.

STEP 4

Pour sauce over the pasta, mix the shrimp under and serve with fresh rucola!
